Summary: Not for Lodge pans
Comment: It's a good product. I sure wish Lodge made it for their pans. I cut it off to fit my Lodge frying pan, although I unfortunately cut it slightly too short. Remember to cut it long enough to protect your fingers right next to the pan where you need the leverage to lift these extremely heavy pans.

Comment: I really think they should include this with the Mario Batali pans, I wouldn't be without it. It is well fitted and covers the entire handle up to an inch from the pan. It is about 7 inches long. It has a slit on the side, about 2 inches long, so it can slip over the wide part of the handle. I'll just leave it on except for washing. It says it's heat resistant to 500 degrees.

Comment: We just added this on to our order to get super saver shipping, but I use it every day on my large cast iron pan. It was much bigger than I was expecting, and is super handy.

Summary: A must have for Batali Pans!
Comment: I purchased this to use with the Mario Batali Panini Pan. I never use the pan now without this handle grip. It fits it perfectly and eliminates getting burned! If you're going to purchase any of the Batali pans with handles (panini pan, risotto pan, etc) do yourself a favor and spend the extra few dollars on this silicone handle grip. Well worth it!
