Everyone loves the end edge pieces in the brownie pan! Now you can make 18 perfectly sized brownies, each with perfect edges. The innovative pop-up pan design allows for easy removal of brownies. Also great for making rice crispy treats, corn bread, crumb cake and more! So easy to use, just pour mix in pan, place brownie cutting grid inside pan and bake. After cooling brownies carefully, remove the cutting grid. Place the brownie pan on the lifting rack, which will then raise the center of the pan out for easy serving. Summary: Great for those of us who can't cut a straight brownie, however, the brownies aren't the same size!
Comment: If you can't cut neat looking brownies (like me)and you don't care about portion control, this is the gadget for you. It works GREAT, and I haven't had any problems with leakage as one person mentioned.
However, I bought this for one purpose. I'm on Weight Watchers and wanted this for portion control. It does make 18 brownies, bars, or cornbread slices, and all very neat. However, they're not all the same size. The insert isn't adjustable, and the middle row brownies are bigger in size than the 2 outer rows. Thus, brownies that aren't really the same size. And you can't tell this by looking at the picture. In fact, the pic on the box (and on this website) appears they're either even, or if anything, they could be slightly larger on the outside. It's an illusion. They don't come out looking quite this way.
Still a good value if you don't care about portion control. It's easy to use, and fairly easy to clean. I had to re-wash it, due to all the corners you have to clean, but it's non-stick so it could be a lot worse.
Would I buy it again? Probably, simply because it will be handy when making brownies for an event. However, I am a little put out that the portions aren't divided equally. And that there's no information telling this anywhere on the package.

Summary: Great pan!
Comment: This is a wonderful little pan. I got great results by halving recipes that called for a standard 9-by-13 pan and beginning to check for doneness about 5 minutes early, since this pan is only 7-by-11. After reading some of the reviews, I did use a cookie sheet underneath, but I had no leakage with any of the brownie and bar recipes I tried--possibly the people who had problems with leakage were using a thinner batter?
When using a conventional pan, I almost always would manage to mess up when trying to neatly slice the bars, but with this pan, the divider worked great to give me precisely cut squares and a really nice presentation for my holiday baking. Now my baked goods look like the pretty pictures on the recipe cards!

Summary: Don't waste your money, use a spatula
Comment: Don't waste your money! Just use a spatuala. For anyone who bakes using a box, an 11x7 pan isn't a standard pan size. It's actually pretty small, and it doesn't work like it shows. You have to spray the entire insert or it sticks to the insert, and it was more work and mess than it was worth. A spatula works so much better!

Comment: I love this pan. I was worried because of the size of the pan. I used a box brownie mix and was afraid it would overflow, however it did not. I threw it in the dish washer when I was done and it cleaned up great!
Met all my expectations so I bought the rest of the pans.
