Customer Rating: Summary: Great knife for the money Comment: This knife is very sharp and comfortable to use. The handle doesn't seem to be the fibrox like the 8" chef's knife, it has a little less "grip" to it, but it shouldn't be a problem even if your hands are a little wet. For $5, I'd definitely recommend this knife. As someone who enjoys cooking, but doesn't want to spend a fortune on her hobby, this line of knives is perfect. They are so much sharper and thinner (but not flimsy) than others I have bought which makes kitchen tasks a breeze. It really makes me want to cook more when I have tools like this that work so well.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great knives! Comment: I thought this would really be too small for most paring, etc., but it
isn't, and I find that I use it a lot. These Victorinox knives arrive sharp, and they stay sharp. The handles are nice, too, very slip-resistant. Good buy!
Customer Rating: Summary: Extremely Usefull Tool! Comment: For someone who really gets into cooking, a knife this size gets probably more use than any other. It's just right for detail work like garlic, ginger, etc. I trust the Victorinox brand, I have owned Victorinox knives in one form or another for 30 years. The only ones that I am not still using are ones that I have lost. For the price, I don't know if there's anything out there that would come close to what you're getting with this knife.
Customer Rating: Summary: A #1 rated knife for $5.00 Comment: Paring knives have their rightful place in your kitchen. This little fella was rated tops on America's test kitchen.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great knife Comment: This knife has a good feel to it and is very sharp though I would not consider it a "paring" knife. I would recommend it because it's good quality at a great price. (My idea of a paring knife is something a little smaller with a curved handle and blade.)
